Spring Greens and Sparkles: An Arley House & Gardens Wedding

21/05/2022

Introduction

Arley House & Gardens is up there on my list of favourite wedding venues. This gorgeous spring wedding was filled with beautiful clean whites, sage greens and sparkles – just check out the bridesmaids amazing dresses.

Getting Ready

As soon as I arrived I made my way to the bridal prep room where the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Cups of tea were happily drank from in the sweetest little personalised cups ever, and the mood was very happy and calm.

The groom arrived in a flashy sports car before heading inside to put the finishing touches to his outfit.

I headed back to the ladies in time for the bride to put her dress on, after which I captured some lovely moments as her bridesmaids and her parents saw her in her dress for the first time.

The Wedding Ceremony

The gardens at Arley House is the perfect spot for a picturesque wedding ceremony. The sun was shining as the guests took their seats surrounded by the spring flowers.

The couple exchanged promises in a lovely relaxed ceremony. The register was signed, the confetti was thrown and it was time for the drinks reception.

Drinks & Nibbles

The guests enjoyed a lovely sunny drinks reception, with yummy canapes from the venue’s expert catering team. The kids played garden games against the backdrop of the castle turret while eevryone mingled and congratulated the bride and groom. This was a great time to capture lots of natural moments.

Sage Greens & Bright Whites

The wedding breakfast room looked beautiful in the wedding colours of sage green and white. A very classic and timeless look which complemented the season perfectly.

Speeches followed their three course meal. There were lots of opportunities for fun shots of the guests as they laughed along to the best man telling the mandatory embarassing stories about the groom.

Couple Photos in the Italian Gardens

After the wedding breakfast, the couple and I ventured over to the arboretum. We had exclusive access to the Italian Gardens at this time which is a stunning space to get some romantic couple photos. The huge fountain was running which made a great backdrop to some of them.

Party Time!

Once we returned it was time for the evening to kick off. The couple greeted their evening guests and then had their first dance. They’d clearly practised and showed off some impressive dance moves!

Afterwards everyone joined them on the dancefloor and stayed a little white to capture some of the evening fun.
