Hey there, I'm Kate
Introduction
Bredenbury Court Barns is always a beautiful setting for a wedding day. No more so than for this gorgeous October wedding filled with beautiful reds and burgundies to compliment the time of year.
Getting Ready
The bride got ready in a little farm cottage nearby, allowing the groom to have ful use of Bredenbury Court’s stunning preparation rooms. It was a lovely place for her and her bridesmaids to get their hair and makeup done and get ready for the day.
There were so many beautiful details at this wedding. We love capturing these and creating lasting memories of the little touches that go into the wedding day.
In the meantime, the groom and his groomsmen were busy at the venue putting those finishing touches to their outfits. We were able to split up and cover both of them getting ready beacuse the couple had booked two photographers for their wedding day.
Guest Arrival & Welcome Drinks
The groom was on hand to welcome guests into the bar. There were lots of hugs and excitement, which was so nice to capture. We love the candid, natural moments between people. It tells the story of the wedding day in a natural, relaxed way.
The Bride’s Arrival
The bride arrived in a sentimental family car, driven by one of their wedding guests. We got a few photographs before they headed down towards the ceremony. The bridesmaids wore beautiful olive green dresses which complmented the bouquets beautifully.
The Civil Ceremony
Bredenbury Court Barns has a wonderful indoor civil ceremony room, with floor to ceiling windows letting in the natural light. There are views of the rolling countryside as the couple say their wedding vows.
Given the time of year, it was pretty chilly outside. Because of this we decided to organise the confetti throw as the bride and groom left the ceremony room. The guests went all out and we had a lot of fun!
Group Photographs & Drinks Reception
We always keep the group photographs to a mimum and keep them fun and relaxed. This way, the couple and their guests don’t get bored or feel too posed. We maximise your time spent with your guests! There is a lovely lawn area under the terrace. This is great for a big group photograph before everyone enjoys a drink and a chat.
Autumnal Couple Photos & The Big Tree!
The bride and groom were very keen to get photographs at Bredenbury’s signature oak tree. You can see why when you look at these photographs. The vibrant autumnal colours really pop!
The Wedding Breakfast in the Oak Barn
The autumnal loveliness carried on into the Oak Barn which was decorated beautifully in reds, oranges and dark greens.
We always love to capture a mix of the speakers and the guests suring the speeches. This tells the story of the wedding day much mor thoroughly and it’s great to see the guests laughing and having a great time.
The Moon & The Sparklers
Night photography at Bredenbury Court Barns is always great fun! The bride and groom had brought sparklers along for their guests to enjoy. We organised a sparkler walk through outside the main entrance to get some great photographs. Not before an amazing oppotunity to get a photo with the moon shining through the trees after dark though.
Party Time!
The bride and groom had their first dance in the Oak Barn. They’d clearly practiced this by the way, complete with an impressive dip at the end!
Afterwards the guests enjoyed a fun filled evening with a packed dancefloor, some funny props in the photo booth, a doughnut table and quite a lot of beer!!
