A Vintage Country House Wedding at Brockencote Hall

28/10/2023

Introduction

Welcome to our latest wedding adventure – a stunning vintage country house wedding. Love meets the roaring twenties in a picturesque countryside setting at Brockencote Hall in Kidderminster. I had the pleasure of capturing every enchanting moment of this vintage affair, where timeless elegance met modern-day romance.

Getting Ready

Our stunning bride prepared for the ceremony in the bedrooms of Brockencote Hall. She was adorned in a vintage sequined dress reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour, exuding Marilyn Monroe vibes with her striking red lipstick and cascading curls.

The Groomsmen

Her groom, embodying the essence of classic sophistication, donned a dashing tweed suit that perfectly complemented the era-inspired theme. As the morning unfolded, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and laughter as the groomsmen embarked on a comical journey to master the art of tying their ties! A moment that added a touch of lighthearted charm to the day’s proceedings.

Stepping outside into the radiant sunlight, the groomsmen gathered for a series of playful photos, their camaraderie and infectious energy setting the tone for the festivities to come.

The Bride’s Reveal

Meanwhile, emotions ran high as the bride shared a heartfelt reveal with her father. Tears of joy and nostalgia mingled with anticipation as they shared a tender embrace.

The bridesmaids and the radiant bride, accompanied by her proud father, descended the grand staircase with grace and poise. Bathed in soft, ethereal light streaming through the vintage windows, every step was a portrait of elegance and grace

The Civil Ceremony

This was an intimate civil ceremony that perfectly complemented the vintage charm of Brockencote Hall. As guests eagerly awaited the bride’s entrance, emotions ran high as the groom, accompanied down the aisle by his mother, took his place at the front.

With all eyes on her, the bride glided down the aisle. As guests watched in awe, tears of joy flowed freely mingling with smiles of pure happiness.

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, the newlyweds emerged onto the front steps of Brockencote Hall, greeted by a shower of confetti and cheers from their loved ones.

Drinks Reception

With the formalities concluded, it was time for guests to relax and enjoy the festivities in the tranquil surroundings of the rear gardens. While the adults savored refreshing drinks and indulged in lively conversation, the children delighted in exploring the vibrant wildlife

Couple Photographs

The newlyweds stole away for some romantic photos, capturing the essence of their love against the timeless beauty of the countryside. We even managed to incorporate the best man’s impressive truck into a few shots, adding a touch of rustic charm and humour.

Afterwards, we made our way back inside to capture some memories on that stunning staircase.

The Wedding Breakfast

Pumpkins and thistles adorned the tables set for the wedding breakfast, with rich autumnal hues of yellow, orange, and purple.

The speeches were just as emotional as the ceremony with lots of tears and laughter from everyone.

As the evening drew to a close, the newlyweds took center stage once more for the traditional cutting of the cake—a sweet finale to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

In the end, it’s not just about capturing moments. It’s about preserving memories, creating a legacy, and celebrating the beauty of love in all its forms. The memories of this enchanting day will live on forever, immortalised in the timeless elegance of a 1920s vintage wedding at Brockencote Hall.
