A Relaxed Spring Wedding Blessing at Hogarths Stone Manor

A Wedding Blessing

Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting this beautifully relaxed spring wedding blessing at Hogarths Stone Manor in Kidderminster. I had already photographed the couple’s legal wedding ceremony amidst the challenges of lockdown restrictions. Now, they were looking forward to the opportunity to celebrate with their loved ones who couldn’t be present during the intimate ceremony.

Bridal Prep

The bride had such a down-to-earth demeanor and radiated happiness as she prepared for the day at home. Surrounded by her bridesmaids, laughter filled the air, and we got some amazing natural photographs.

The bride’s dress had exquisite back detail which I made sure to get a photo of as she was helped into it by her bridesmaids. I love these storytelling moments.

Arrival at Stone Manor

Upon arrival at Hogarths Stone Manor, the groom and his groomsmen added final touches to the venue. We ventured into the gardens, seizing the opportunity to capture some fun photos of the guests arriving and the groomsmen together.

The Blessing Ceremony

The ceremony room awaited, looking stunning with lush greens and cream flowers.

As the bride and her bridesmaids made their grand entrance in impressive sports cars, the guests and the groom waited patiently indoors.

With the legalities already sealed, the couple embraced the opportunity to have their friends and family play an integral role in the ceremony. From heartfelt readings to amusing anecdotes, it was so lvoely to be a aprt of such a personal service. I was laughing along with the guests and the bride’s son did a great job of a reading which he was very proud of.

Reception in the Garden Room

Following the ceremony, the festivities continued in the Garden Room, slightly away from the main hotel building. Amidst tasteful decorations, including a cheese wedding cake – how amazing does this look – guests enjoyed a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The couple opted for a more laid-back approach, allowing for spontaneous moments and without the traditional sit down meal and speeches.

Fun Couple Photographs

We ventured out into the gardens behind the terrace from some couple photos. As expected, this ended up being 15 minutes of the bride and groom laughing hysterically together and making fun of each other. The best kind of relationship I reckon! I got some great natural photos of them looking so happy.

The Evening Reception

As the day transitioned into evening, the groom’s heartfelt words set the stage for an evening of laughter and fun. Live music and a photo booth provided a playful backdrop for guests which we made sure to capture on camera!

A Well Deserved Celebration

I know how much this lovely couple missed being able to celebrate properly during the lockdown restrictions so it was amazing to see their vision come to life here. They wanted a relaxed, fun and energetic party vibe and they deifnitely got it!
