The Ceremony
Stone Manor offers the best of both worlds, letting you choose between an outdoor ceremony in their beautiful gardens, or an indoor ceremony in one of their impressive hotel rooms. Let’s face it, living in England, it’s never a certainty that the sun will be shining, so having a pretty and spacious indoor option in case of bad weather is a bonus if you’re initially planning on tying the knot outdoors.
The great thing about outdoor ceremonies is that there is so much more freedom for us as wedding photographers – we can move around a lot more and capture more angles than we usually can indoors.
Having said that, Stone Manor’s indoor spaces are great for ceremonies too!
The Garden Room
One of the benefits to getting married at Stone Manor is the amount of choice you get about where you hold your celebrations. Not only do they have multiple ceremony options, they also have different spaces for your wedding reception. The Garden Room is such a lovely space for the wedding breakfast – bright and spacious with it’s own bar and terrace, and away from the main hotel areas, so you get that ‘exclusive use’ feel without actually booking a private venue.
The Wedding House, Stone Manor Hotel’s recommended supplier, do a fantastic job of transforming the rooms into whatever your vision may be!
I love photographing the speeches during your wedding breakfast – it’s always lovely hearing the stories about you as a couple and seeing you and your wedding guests having such a great time.
Gorgeous Grounds
As a wedding photographer, I love photographing my couples around the stunning grounds of Stone Manor. You’ll be spoilt for choice with sloping lawns, the walled garden surrounded by trees and rockeries, cute wooden benches and endless foliage and flowers to add some colour into your wedding photos.
Not only are the grounds amazing for getting some great couple photos, they’re also a fantastic place to relax with your guests during reception drinks after the ceremony, and to get those all important family photographs.
