Hey there, I'm Kate
Introduction
From the moment this couple booked me, we clicked so well and I knew it would be a great day. They are such a fun and warm couple and fit so well together. It was truly a pleasure to be there to celebrate their Marvel inspired June wedding at Hogarths Stone Manor.
Bridal Preparation
Their wedding day started off pretty traditionally, with me photographing the ladies getting ready in one of Stone Manor’s lovely hotel bedrooms.
Groomsmen in the Gardens
Afterwards, I met up with the groomsmen in the gardens for some pre-ceremony wedding photographs.
The Indoor Ceremony
Their indoor ceremony was beautiful with the room perfectly decorated by The Wedding House. They had done a super job as always and I’m pleased to be partnered with them as a fellow supplier.
There was the cutesst little Yorkshire Terrier there – Stone Manor is happily dog friendly.
The couple exchanged vows in a relaxed and fun civil ceremony. There were a few tears shed – happy ones of course – and they beamed as they signed the register before walking out as a married couple.
Couple Photos in the Grounds – Marvel Inspired
After the ceremony, I knew we were going to get a few shots incorporating their slight Avengers and Star Wars themes. The bride had the most amazing leather jacket that she wore over her dress for some of their couple photographs. We kept things super simple – just them being themselves, having a laugh and walking around the grounds together.
Our storytelling approach was perfect for Charlotte and Jordan as they wanted a few posed photographs, but they were keen to have the majority telling the day naturally and without too much intrusion.
Wedding Breakfast in The Garden Room
The Garden Room, again decorated by The Wedding House, looked amazing with classic greens and blues adding colour. The groom had his way wiht th table names which were themed on his beloved football team, Aston Villa.
Speeches followed and they were very heartfelt, especially from the bride’s Dad.
Evening Celebrations
Into the evening, the guests watched as the bride and groom cut their wedding cake. Afterwards they headed to the dancefloor for their first dance, lit up by huge love letters.
