Introduction
I’m thrilled to share the story of a vibrant and fun August wedding that I had the honor of photographing at Bordesley Park. The couple had booked our two photographer option. Their ceremony was at their local church, after which followed a reception at the lovely Bordesley Park.
The Bride’s Home
As I arrived at the bride’s home, the excitement was palpable. I was greeted with a beaming smile, and I immediately fell in love with her amazing pink shoes!
As hair and makeup were finished and the bride put her dress on, she looked beautiful in her satin dress, red lipstick and elegant hairstyle.
Arriving at Church
At the church, the atmosphere was nothing short of enchanting, with guests warmly welcomed as they arrived. The pretty church, complete with a balcony, offered lots of opportunities for capturing stunning shots from both above and below.
The Church Ceremony
During the ceremony, all eyes were on the happy couple exchanging vows with a backdrop of a stunning mural on the altar.
Arrival at Bordesley Park
As we arrived at Bordesley Park for the reception, we got a few photos with their wedding car on the driveway. I kept these relaxed and natural and the couple enjoyed a drink whilst I worked.
Afterwards, the couple joined their guests for a drinks reception filled with so many fun things! There was an ice cream truck, cocktails, garden games, a trampoline and even space hoppers!
A Beautiful Setting for Photographs
We captured more fun moments with the newlyweds and their loved ones, as they got everyone toegtehr for a confetti throw.
From candid group shots to sassy poses with sunglasses and wellies! These may actually be two of my favourite ever bride portraits!
Inside the Marquee
Inside the marquee, handmade decorations crafted by the bride’s family filled the space and added splashes of sage green colour. It was heartwarming to see their love and effort reflected in every detail.
The Cake Cut & First Dance
The couple cut their cake in front of their guests.
As the night went on, guests joined in for some lively dancing! We got some great shots of everyone enjoying themselves.
