The Venue Setting
Autumn wedding days at Bredenbury Court Barns in Bromyard are always beautiful, and this one was no exception. We were booked for full day coverage with two photographers and a videographer. This is perfect for capturing all of the important moments from getting ready until after the dancefloor filled.
Bredenbury Court Barns is a gorgeous exclusive use wedding venue nestled in the Herefordshire countryside near Bromyard. It was a beautiful October day, with gorgeous autumn sunshine dappling through the trees. Upon arrival we had plenty of time to set the scene with some venue and detail photographs.
Bridal Preparation
We had a great time taking photos of the ladies getting their hair and makeup done during bridal preparation. Those fancy floor to ceiling mirrors and all the lovely little touches make it a fantastic place to relax and get ready with your favourite people.
The bride’s big reveal to her Dad went down a treat. This is always one of my favourite moments on a wedding day and usually promises to be full of emotion.
Guest Arrival
We met the groom as he arrived to put the finishing touches to his outfit too, before he and his groomsmen greeted the guests in the cosy bar area.
The Wedding Ceremony
Bredenbury’s ceremony room is possibly one of my favourites. It’s so bright and airy with huge windows looking out onto the countryside. A perfect blank canvas for brides and grooms to fill with their beautiful wedding decorations and finishing touches. The autunmal theme continued in here, with burnt oranges and reds for their flowers and chair sashes and some simple white flowers scattered down the aisle.
As a team of three at this wedding, we captured every moment of their ceremony from both ends of this gorgeous room. The confetti throw as they walked back up the aisle was super fun!
Reception Drinks & Couple Portraits
As the weather was so beautiful and warmer than usual for the time of year, most of the guests ventured out onto the terrace and into the grounds for reception drinks. There, we also captured group photographs and took the bride and groom for a short couple portrait session. Our favourite photographs are those against the stunning views of the Herefordshire hills.
The Oak Barn
The Oak Barn was then opened to the couple and their guests for some absolutely amazing food. It looked stunning with the autumnal colours and little touches that the couple had added.
Evening Fun with Dancing & Sparklers
Later in the evening, the couple had fun catching up with friends and family. Afterwards, they danced the night away and we had some creative fun outside with wedding sparklers.

The couple booked us for our well-known storytelling style of wedding photography. This day was the perfect mix of those wonderful candid moments, some fun couple photos, those all important family group shots and some sparkler creativity thrown in for good measure!
