Children
Still Light Photography Ltd’s services include that of taking photographs of children during weddings and other public events as well as privately commissioned photo sessions. Images of children are never posted publicly online without prior permission of the child’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Client galleries where images of children are included are password protected with the password given out to the client and to the client’s guests with the permission of the client. All clients have the right to request that images of their children be removed from galleries within the website.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we improve our current offerings and as technologies and laws change. You can determine when this Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the “Last updated” at the top of this page. Any changes will become effective upon our posting of the revised Privacy Policy.

We collect these details so that we can process your request and supply a quote, confirm a booking and fulfil your booking requirements. The legal ground for processing this information for these purposes is performance of a contract.
DIRECT MARKETING

Still Light Photography Ltd uses MailChimp to assist in sending emails. Those services track the activities associated with these emails, such as whether they were opened, whether links in the emails were clicked on, and whether purchases were made following clicks on those links. Still Light Photography Ltd uses this data to analyse the level of engagement with its emails.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will retain your personal data as long as your Still Light Photography Ltd online account is considered to be active and in order to meet our legal, statutory and regulatory obligations. We will retain your personal data as a confirmed customer of Still Light Photography Ltd (for example if you have booked your services for a wedding or family photo session) unless you request us to remove your data from our systems. This is retained to ensure ease of communication for future bookings and to fulfil orders made from the initial booking. We will retain images from commissioned sessions for a minimum of ten years to ensure ease of resupplying images to clients should the need arise.
