Wow so Spring got here quickly! I've already got stuck in to the 2017 season with a few weddings in February and March, all of which have been so lovely. There will be more to come on some of these soon so watch this space! For now though, I'd love to share with you one of my favourite weddings from the end of last year's season.
Moxhull Hall has firmly placed itself near the top of my favourite venue list (to be fair this keeps growing every year haha) and their recent award for Best West Midlands Hotel is thoroughly deserved! Gary and the rest of the team ran the day like clockwork as always and the venue looked stunning for Laura and Matt. I often worry about winter weddings; the light, the weather, the shorter days limiting what we can do outdoors, and this one was no exception.
However as always, as soon as I arrived and started shooting I got wrapped up in the excitement of the day and everything just flowed. I used a combination of my signature natural, documentary style shooting with a little time spent setting up some creative sunset-time shots with Laura and Matt so they really got the most out of their day photographically. The heavens were on our side int he evening and we got the most gorgeous sunset light without the need for any artificial lighting at all.
So here you go...a few shots of Laura and Matt's wedding day at the stunning Moxhull Hall.
